Volunteer at Ironman and help SMEPF receive a grant!

Here’s a chance for you to do two good things at once! Ironman Chattanooga is taking place the last weekend in September. By signing up to volunteer at the race, and listing SME Preservation Fund as your group, you can help us receive grant money for our Community Center. I just signed up to work Sunday, Sept. 29 from 2:00-7:00 pm in the Athlete Food area. Here’s the description:

Following the race, Athletes are provided various kinds of food in the Athlete Food area. This area is located next to the Volunteer Tent. Volunteers are to ensure that food is given to athletes only. Serve food in a manner that ensures it is well stocked and fresh. If running low notify your Captain or IRONMAN staff. Make sure cold items remain cold and hot items remain hot. Be aware of water and ice source.
**Note: Shift times are subject to change as the event approaches.**

There are many different jobs and times to choose from over the weekend, so check them out and see what fits for you. And be sure to list SME Preservation Fund as your group!

Also, let me know you signed up! Thanks!
